Coke Studio Just Dropped 99 Names of Allah by Atif Aslam in Spirit of Ramadan

Coke Studio has released  99 names of Allah by Atif Aslam in the spirit of Ramadan to spread the message of hope and solidarity. As it is usual with other such Coke Studio projects the video is already becoming popular.

About  Beautiful Recitation of 99 Names of Allah by Atif Aslam

The video starts with the recitation that signifies the creation of the universe followed by the echo of “ Allah” from the Azan at Makkah and ends at Al-Saboor which deliveres the message of hope.

Apart from music bit the visuals are also appealing. Despite, being produced by the Coke Studio there is no added glamour. Atif Aslam has dressed gracefully in light brown with neutral white color Tusa, with a minimalist set in background that echoes with duff.

The beautiful recitation video of 99 Names of Allah by Atif Aslam gathered more than 691,932 views withing 13 hours of video being released on the official Coke Studio YouTube Channel.

The video is produced by Zulfiqar “Xulfi” Jabbar Khan and directed by Asim Raza. It has been recorded at home.

Amidst the coronavirus pandemic Singer also shared Azaan in his beautiful voice and captioned it as Azan recitation by Atif Aslam; a call for help. He shared recitation on his Instagram.

These 99 names of Allah by Atif Aslam video is not first of its kind. The singer has sung a couple of Sufi songs in the past. Apart from singing Tajdar e Haram in season 9, the singer also recorded a beautiful recreation of Hamd “Wohi Khuda Ha” for Coke Studio Season 12.

Hamd was penned by Pakistani poet Muzaffar Warsi and originally recited by famous vocalist Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. Atif Aslam has dedicated this wonder of his career, after Tajdar-e-Haram, to his five-year-old son. The 6-minutes video of Hamd ends with Darood Pak with no instrumental music on background in order to restore the respectful essence. The hamd gathered 3.1million views within 24 hours of its release.

The beautiful recitation of 99 Names of Allah by Atif Aslam easily made it to the top position in Twitter trends

British High Commissioner to Pakistan Christian Turner stated that this recitation was an expression of hope, reassurance, & healing in these difficult times.

Pakistani singer and songwriter Haroon Shahid also praised the beautiful voice of the singer in 99 Names of Allah. He appreciated the work by music producer Zulfiqar Khan. But it seems that he could not take this message of peace and hope as he didn’t miss this opportunity to take a jibe at those who opined that  Turkish Drama Ertugul Ghazi was causing an identity crisis.   

The beautiful 99 Names of Allah by Atif Aslam were heart warming enough to give listeners goosebumps. They are indeed considered the most beautiful recitation with most satisfactory opening of new season of Coke Studio

There seemed no end to appreciation of singer for his beautiful work.

He just cemented his position as the fans favorite singer in Pakistan.
