The period drama was believed to be the finest piece of work to generate a great deal of revenue but the odds might have been against the film. Apparently, Akshay Kumar’s Prithviraj has a very low rate of audience in theatres which turned out to make it a flop project so far. Reportedly, there are some factors involved in making the film’s success a disaster.

Akshay Kumar’s Prithviraj film is based on the life of a king ‘Prithviraj Chauhan who fights the Mohammad of Ghor. The movie also has Sanjay Dutt and Sonu Sood as cast members. It was released on June 3 in multiple languages including Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The film Samrat Prithviraj had mixed reactions at its release as it also witnessed a very low rate of audience. The movie made Rs 4.40 crore in a single day and its total domestic box office earning was recently Rs 48.80 crore.
Akshay Kumar’s Prithviraj got mixed reviews but mostly bad ones on social media. According to netizens the writer and director of the movie ‘Chandraprakash Dwivedi has molded the film a bit. People said Akshay Kumar butchered the story and manipulated it according to his own agenda.
Some people shared the images of hero and heroine and mentioned that there’s a major age gap that doesn’t justify the gist of the film. Many on social media said that Akshay and Manushi Chhillar had good chemistry but the gap between their age was just too much prominent.

Now, the trollers are back with mockery and criticism because of his acting in the film. Some said he wasn’t fit for the role. Many were commenting on his unjust acting in the movie that made him look like a comedian more than a historic king. Other than that, not-so-happy people said that Akshay Kumar’s Prithviraj was a disaster due to his being below average. If the king was actually alive and had watched the film, he would have given Kumar some severe punishment.
