Plane Carrying Argentine Striker Emiliano Sala Goes Missing

A plane carrying Argentine striker Emiliano Sala who is also a popular Premier League player has gone missing. Emiliano who recently signed contract with Cardiff City is feared to board the plane that reportedly carried two people.

When Did Emiliano Sala Go Missing?

The plane was reportedly flying from Nantes in France to Cardiff. It left Nantes on 19:15 on Monday and requested landing at Jersey Airport. The plane then disappeared near Casquets lighthouse. According to media reports, the weather conditions were ideal when flight took off but they grew windy and wetty later.

Casquets Rock the place where the plane reportedly carrying Emiliano Sala went missing is known to be the sight of many shipwrecks since 1724. Measures have been taken to prevent such incidents.

Rescue efforts launched to find Emiliano  

A  wide-scale search has been launched to find the plane,  and it has yielded nothing till date. Coastguard rescue helicopter and crews from Alderney and Guernsey from Channels Island participated in the rescue efforts that were stopped around 2:00 Am due to worsening weather conditions.

According to media reports nothing significant was found other than red flares. Authorities are hopeful for better search efforts in daylight.

Emiliano Sala is a popular premier league player. The news of his missing cause a huge concern among his fans in general and Cardiff City in particular as club had just signed  £15 million worth of deal. Soon after the news of his missing went viral fans took to Twitter and expressed their feelings.

There was a mixed reactions. Rumor is starting to emerge that Emiliano Sala is dead while others have gone ahead and declared him dead for sure and fans who love to see their favorite footballer performing in the field.
