LSA 2018 Performances
As anticipated Lux Style Awards 2018 ceremony provided a platform to raise the voice against child abuse. Fashion expert, event manager and former LSA director Frieha Altaf, launched her #MeinBhi (MeToo) campaign to spread awareness on the rampant problem of child abuse in Pakistan.
LSA 2018 also featured the hilarious segments by comedian and writer Ahmed Ali Butt and Vasay Chaudhry. Singer and composer Sahir Ali Bagga entertained the audience with his overwhelming qawwali performance. The show ended on a high note with an orchestra performance by 71 stars on the stage.
Winners of LSA 2018
Humayun Saeed and Mehwish Hayat starrer, Punjab Nahi Jaungi won big in the film category. It is also the first Pakistani film to gross 50 crores worldwide. In the category of TV drama, Saba Qamar starrer Baaghi, which was inspired by the story of Qandeel Baloch, bagged the awards.
