She also made videos that went viral on social media. Thus, plenty is wondering why she assaulted him publicly.
Hareem Shah Slapped Mufti Qavi For His Inappropriate Behavior
Shah stated in her interview with a news channel that she was the one who slapped Qavi for his inappropriate comments on her and her friend. As per her statement, people like him should be penalized to stop heinous crimes against women.
In another video shared by Hareem, Mufti Abdul Qavi can be seen talking about girls and Chars (hashish form of Marijuana). Allegedly, this could be the reason why Hareem Shah slapped Mufti Qavi.

Reportedly, Mufti Abdul, Ruet-e-Hilal Committee member addressed Geo News and stated that he unaware that she would slap him. Also, he wasn’t sure why Shah took this action against him while he was sitting in the room, using his cellphone when she suddenly came in and assaulted him and left immediately.
