Pablo Schrieber to Play Master Chief in Halo TV Series

In a press release, ShowTime announced that Emmy nominee Pablo Schrieber will play the role of Master Chief in its Halo TV series. The production of the show will begin in the starting of this fall in Budapest.

Earlier, we had reported that Xbox game Halo is going to get a screen adaptation. And, now the things have turned more exciting.

Details of Master Chief Character in Halo TV Series

The master chief is the heart and soul of the Halo series without him the whole series falls apart. According to the loose plot the chief is regarded as earth’s last defense against the covenant a group of mercenaries who are hell bent on wiping out the human race. So who better than Pablo Schrieber to play the role.

The actor has played such demanding characters in the past and has done justice to them. He plays them so well that it becomes difficult for others to act out in similar roles. So let’s see how he preferms.

Will the Halo TV Series Be Different From The Game

Slight changes to the story have been made. The introduction of a new character Quan Ah played by Korean born Australian Yerin Ha is a new addition to the Halo universe. The shrewd and audacious 16-year-old meets the master chief at a fateful time for both of them.

The Halo series is one of the most ambitious projects that show time has embarked on and expects its fans to be thoroughly rewarded. The series is being produced in association with 343 Industries and Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Television. The Production is scheduled to   begin sometime this June in Budapest, Hungary

Originally Rupert Wyatt was going to direct the series but had to step down due to scheduling problems. So Otto Bathurst will be directing the series with executive producer Killen, Kane, Scott Pennington, Bathurst, and Toby Leslie, Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank. CBS will globally distribute the series.

How Many Seasons Will The Halo TV Series Consist of ?

The number of seasons the series will have is not yet known. For now, nine episodes will be produced instead of the original 10. Each episode will have a run time of one hour. The episodes are loosely based on the epic sci-fi first-person shooter “Halo: Combat Evolved” the first in the halo game series that took the market by storm on November 14, 2014.  

The game sold 77 million copies worldwide and generated a revenue of 5 billion dollars. Halo wars 2 is the latest part in the series release on 21 February , 2017. The production of more seasons or episode is subjected to how well it’s received.
